About Me
Classically Trained Pianist with a wealth of experience as a teacher and accompanist
I started my music journey at the young age of 6 learning to play the piano. Later, I added the clarinet and became a Junior Exhibitioner at The Royal Academy of Music, studying piano under Alan Albert Owen, where I started my training as a Classical Musician. After obtaining my Degree in Music Education in 1990, I trained as an accompanist under David Newbold and Christine Croshaw at Trinity College of London in the mid-90s.

I have had the opportunity to play at the Royal Albert Hall, Genoa Music Festival and Bevagna, Italy. I also have had the privilege of playing with and accompanying accomplished musicians at St John's Waterloo, Burgh House Hampstead and a number of concerts in and out of the London area, including Surrey. And on several occasions, I played before HRH Princess Alexandra at charity events.

I have built a strong portfolio of clients in the local area teaching the piano, clarinet, as well as Music Theory. I teach all levels of abilities and grades. I also teach up to intermediate organ. I do exam accompanying for all Exam Boards in England, as well as Music Scholarship auditions for many prestigious schools in the London and Surrey area, including Eton.
I also provide recorded exams for all Exam Boards.

Having recently moved from school teaching at a top local independent school, as well as an outstanding comprehensive school, I moved away to concentrate on my own career as a musician as well as my private practice. However, I do enjoy the bustling school environment, so I play for local schools for their Carol Concerts, Spring and Summer Music Concerts and exam accompanying at various local schools.
My greatest happiness in life so far is seeing my teenage son developing a love for the organ and becoming an Organ Scholar.
